2. More blade prongs help create a smoother finish. This Rug Carver features a 13-prong straight blade, helping reduce the visible grooves that can be left behind by lower-prong blades.

Our 450W Rug Carver is a great way to create a smooth, uniform rug surface; however, because it is a powerful machine, it can be easy to accidentally gouge your rug or carve too deeply.

The Shearing Guide helps keep the Rug Carver at a more consistent height, making it much easier to achieve an even finish across the surface of your rug.

It also helps support the weight of the Rug Carver and manage some of the vibration from the machine, giving you greater control while you work.

The adapter is designed to fit most similar rug carving machines on the market. You can purchase the Shearing Guide Only or choose it together with our recommended 450W Rug Carver.
