We do not accept order cancellations. Please consider your purchase carefully before placing an order 🙂
This applies to all orders, including pre-orders and Factory Direct shipments. The only exception is if we are unable to deliver your item by the approximate proposed ship-by date — in which case we may approve a cancellation request.
If you have selected a Factory Direct or international shipment that involves duties or tariffs, and later request to cancel after we have contacted you with a duty quote, a 10% cancellation fee will apply to cover administrative and communication costs.
All clearance or sale items are final sale. These items cannot be returned or refunded under any circumstances.
Separately, tufting yarn and tufting cloth are non-refundable and non-returnable at all times — regardless of whether they are on sale or full price.
We’re unable to re-measure or re-weigh individual cones or cuts of cloth once sold. Exceptions may be made in rare cases; please email us if you’d like to discuss your situation.
We have a 30-day return policy, meaning you must contact us within 30 days of delivery to request a return.
Return requests must be emailed to hello@allthingseffy.com before sending any items back. Items sent without prior approval will not be accepted.
Factory Direct orders are non-refundable except for store credit, and are subject to a minimum 20% restocking fee. These items ship directly from our partner factories overseas and are not stocked locally in the U.S.
If a return is exceptionally approved, it must be returned to our New Zealand workshop at the customer’s expense.
Once a machine has been opened or used — even briefly — it is considered used and subject to a 30% restocking fee if returned. We do not resell used machines as new. Returned machines are inspected and, if functional, relisted as refurbished.
Used machinery must be returned to our New Zealand workshop, not our U.S. warehouse.
Please check your tufting machine within 30 days of delivery. Warranty claims must be made within this window.
Using your tufting machine on hessian, plastic weave, or other unsuitable fabrics will void your warranty. Our warranty covers manufacturing defects only and does not apply to misuse or modification.
Please inspect your order immediately upon arrival. Contact us within 30 days if your item is damaged, defective, or incorrect, so we can make it right.
If your parcel is marked as undelivered or missing, you must notify us within 45 days of the order date. After that time, we are no longer responsible for untracked parcels.
If your parcel is marked as delivered by the carrier but not received, this will be handled as a courier investigation claim. We’ll assist you with the process, but final decisions are made by the courier.
This section applies only to Factory Direct orders that ship internationally from our partner factories. If you have confirmed via email that you accept duties and tariffs for your Factory Direct shipment and then refuse delivery at customs or at the border, you will not receive a refund.
Instead, store credit may be issued minus original shipping charges and a 30% restocking fee, once the parcel has been returned to us.
Domestic U.S. orders fulfilled from our Texas warehouse are not subject to import duties or border-refusal scenarios and are handled under our standard return policy.
If your parcel is returned to us because it was unclaimed, a refund may be issued minus shipping costs and a 30% restocking fee. If the parcel is abandoned or destroyed, no refund will be issued. Please contact us immediately if you are unable to receive your shipment.
