This listing is for a batch of our 100% Acrylic Rug Yarn that did not meet All Things EFFY quality standards.

We have received customer feedback that yarn from this batch can feel unusually rough, dry and straw-like and may not feed or tuft properly. Because of these quality issues, we have removed this batch from our regular retail inventory.

Rather than dispose of the yarn, we are offering it at an extremely reduced clearance price for customers who may still be able to use the fibre for craft projects, yarn art, decorative work, stuffing and other applications where softness and tufting performance are not important.

🧶 What Can I Use It For?

Although this yarn was originally manufactured for rug tufting, this particular batch did not meet our normal tufting standards, so we recommend looking at it primarily as an inexpensive craft fibre rather than rug-making yarn.

You may still find it useful for:

• Yarn art and decorative yarn designs

• Glued yarn art / yarn painting, where yarn is arranged and glued onto a surface to create patterns or pictures

• Peg loom and yarn-wrapping projects

• Fibre art and mixed-media projects

• Wall hangings and decorative pieces

• Pom-poms, tassels and embellishments

• Craft projects where softness is not important

• Stuffing and filling

• School, community or large-scale craft projects

• Other creative uses where inexpensive acrylic fibre is more important than premium yarn texture

There is still plenty of usable fibre in these cones — it simply does not meet the quality standard we require for our regular rug tufting yarn.

🎨 Colour & Stock Availability

Available colours and quantities will depend entirely on the damaged stock remaining at our warehouse.

We have hundreds of affected cones across a number of colours, but quantities will reduce as the clearance stock sells through.

Dye lot numbers are printed on the SKU/barcode label of each cone. We cannot guarantee matching dye lots, particularly if multiple cones of the same colour are ordered.

Colour differences between dye lots may become more noticeable once the yarn is used.

⚖️ Cone Weight

Yarn is a textile product and cone weights can vary slightly due to fibre density, humidity and winding tension. Individual cones may vary approximately ±5–10% from the nominal 250 g weight.

♻️ Why Are We Selling It?

We have had to remove this entire batch from our regular yarn inventory because it does not meet the quality standard we expect from All Things EFFY yarn.

However, throwing away hundreds of cones of acrylic fibre that could still be useful for craft and art projects seems incredibly wasteful.

So instead, we're offering it at a very low clearance price to customers who understand exactly what they're purchasing and may be able to give it another life.

This damaged batch is not representative of the quality of our regular All Things EFFY Acrylic Rug Yarn.

Our regular acrylic rug yarn is sold separately and is subject to our normal quality-control standards.
