Three Tufting-Gun Threaders A handy three-pack for threading yarn through your tufting machine.

Optional Tufting Frame A sturdy 0.98 yd × 0.98 yd frame sized for home projects and designed to attach to a suitable table.

Primary Tufting Cloth A 1.09 yd × 2 yd (3.27 ft × 6 ft) piece of durable primary tufting cloth with a strong double-warp and weft construction.

Authentic machines and practical support: EFFY tufting machines have been trusted by makers since 2018 and include a six-month limited warranty.

You will still need: rug-backing latex or another suitable primary adhesive, spray adhesive for the secondary backing, and a hot-glue gun if you plan to attach binding.

A Very Big Tufting Project

The Monopoly Rug

YouTube creator Jazza and Chrystal Christie of Red Back Rugs collaborated to create an epic 3 m × 3 m Monopoly rug, complete with houses, hotels, cards and money. The finished rug and game were generously donated to a local library, where children can enjoy playing life-sized games of Monopoly.

All Things EFFY was proud to contribute the EFFY tufting machines, premium primary tufting cloth, acrylic rug yarn, rug carvers and other tools used to create the project.

A Note About the Photos and Videos

Some of the project media on this page was created while the Ultimate Starter Kit was still being refined. The current kit includes several improvements that may look different from the products shown.

What may look different

The AK-V tufting gun is now supplied in signature EFFY purple, rather than the older blue finish visible in some images.
The Rosewood Carver is now supplied in a black hard case with the Easy Clip Carving Guide.
The older carver package shown in some media used a plastic guide that needed to be screwed into place. We returned to the Rosewood Carver and Easy Clip combination after finding it faster to set up, easier to adjust and ultimately a better set of tools for customers.
