🧶 EFFY Tufting Workshop – Flexible 1- or 2-Day Format

If you’re local to Christchurch, we highly recommend splitting the workshop into two sessions (or even four shorter sessions). We’ve found customers are much happier this way, as it gives more time to absorb the new techniques. However, if you’re from out of town, the full Saturday workshop is a great option.

We recommend a full-day option for larger or more detailed rug designs, while the half-day pair is perfect for a slower pace or spreading the project over two weekends.

• Gun maintenance and troubleshooting
• Pattern design (bring your own or choose one of ours)
• Rug finishing techniques: latex, backing, and binding (covered in full-day or two-session formats)

• 8 cones/cakes of acrylic yarn
• Two 50x50cm pieces of tufting cloth
• Rug backing or felt, plus latex adhesive
• All finishing materials (binding, tools, etc.)
