ZQ-II Tufting Machine — Legacy Industrial Model (Factory Direct)

The ZQ-II is one of the oldest electronic tufting gun designs still in production — a true legacy model that has been in circulation since the 1980s. We offer this machine primarily for tufters who have used the ZQ-II before and prefer its older mechanical feel.

However, due to its heavy weight, outdated engineering, and reduced efficiency compared with modern models, we strongly recommend considering newer machines such as the AK-V, AK-I, AK-DUO, or AK-III. A full comparison is available in our Tufting Gun Comparison Chart.

⚠️ Voltage & Power Requirements

The ZQ-II is available in 220V only and cannot be safely used in the United States without a transformer. To operate this machine in the U.S., you will need a 500-watt step-down transformer.

📌 Recommended Usage Notes

The ZQ-II can only operate in one mode at a time (cut or loop). Switching between modes requires manual mechanical adjustment.

We recommend becoming fully comfortable with the factory preset pile height and mode before attempting any adjustments. The ZQ-II requires careful calibration and is not as intuitive as modern tufting guns.

This is a solid option for those who prefer legacy industrial machines, but beginners and most tufters will have a significantly better experience using a newer model.
