About EFFY Rug Wool:
This is the perfect strong, durable wool rug yarn for tufting. It is 100% New Zealand Wool dyed in large batches for consistent colours.
It's on recycled plastic cones so you can feed your wool easily to your gun. However We are offering smaller amounts for Punch Needle Artists that are wound to cakes. Cakes are also very easy to tuft and punch with.
Most of our cones are 250gms of wool (10 new arrival colours are on 500gms cones)
Use 2 strands at a time to create a beautiful dense rug!
Colours are slightly different when tufted by a cut pile tufting gun - which is why we have the tufted samples shown as well.
It is approximately double knit or 8ply (as we say in New Zealand).
*Important!! 500gm Cones are only available in: Green, Teal, Ecru, Natural Beige, Taupe, Brown, Deep Red, Stitchbird Yellow, Apricot, Bronze
